There, he comes face-to-face with the man who used his body during the murder. The man explains that this is now a “shared space”, meaning Eli’s mind is no longer fully his own. He begins probing Eli’s memories, testing his emotional anchors and psychological stability. Eli resists, realizing that this isn’t just an attack—it’s an evaluation.
