We have not received the spirit of fear... but of a sound mind. The Greek word translated "sound mind" means a "controlled mind". The Spirit we have received enables us to control or garrison our hearts and minds against unfruitful thoughts and demonic suggestions. Your mind is your battle ground. The devil always attacks by dropping a thought into your mind. The thoughts will generate internal discussion and argument. The conclusion of that discussion will eventually become your approach or personal policy. This is what happened to Eve in the garden. Precious One, if you don't control your mind by the spirit combined with the word, then your mind will control you.
