Chapter Seven: Skill Building - Content Production Plan. As a business owner, we have so many things to do on a daily, weekly and even monthly basis that little things like producing content gets overlooked. Let me implore you to make producing content as important as writing checks to pay bills to keep the lights on. It's the blood vessels and capillaries of your business. Consistently produced content will create engagement, reach and leads! So how are you supposed to produce content consistently? The easiest way to produce content is to do Facebook live videos. Wait, I'm trying to trick you into using Facebook live, right? No seriously, using Facebook live helps you to produce content for other platforms. Let me explain.  When you do a Facebook live post, you create a video which is an mp4 file. You can download the mp4 file and then use that to post those videos on other social media platforms. By using a transcription service, you can take the transcript of the video, add the video or picture and post that to places like LinkedIn, Google My Business and even your website blog. Here's the exact process to use: Go live on your Facebook Business page (5-8 minutes is the goal). Follow the guidelines from the previous chapter. After the video is posted to your page (there is a short delay), click on the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner and then click Download Video. The Video will re-populate in a new window in the lower right corner, click on the 3 vertical dots and click Download Video again. This time you'll be able to save the mp4 file to your desktop or laptop. Search for a transcription service online. (I use rev.com.). These services can usually transcribe your videos within a couple hours for 10, 20, 30 cents a minute, up to $1 a minute of the recorded video. Once you receive the transcript, you'll have to do some editing, but within a couple minutes you'll have a readable format of your video. Post a transcript and video to your website blog. Post a transcript and video to YouTube. Post a transcript and video to LinkedIn. Post a transcript and a picture from the video to Instagram. Post a link from the blog on Twitter with the picture you used on Instagram. That's content for six platforms from one Facebook live video! To me, that's DMN8-ing the content game.
