Putting aside everything going wrong in the world right now and trying to focus on the positive things of this past weekend's holiday are extremely hard for me. So I'll close my eyes and think back to my childhood summers and visiting The Ohio State Fair. I loved going there to see the butter cow, sweat in the quilt barn as my mom forced us to admire the quilts with her, ride the rides, and eat 85 pounds of fried goodies. For Christie Mullins however, the 1975 fair wasn't going to be one to remember.
