This week we’re discussing Words on Bathroom Walls by Julia Walton as well as the recent film adaptation. A novel that follows Adam, a teenager recently diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, as he navigates high school, his diagnosis, and an experimental new treatment. We’ll be chatting about his relationship with Maya, the damaging stigma surrounding mental illness, and Adam’s journey of self-acceptance.
