Chapter Eight of Pastor Rob's book, "Enjoying the Goodness of God" read by the author. It is easy to recognize the old covenant law. The law always focuses on YOU. It is easy to recognize new covenant grace. Grace always focuses on Jesus and what He has done for us. When we mix law and grace, be become double minded. The law demands righteousness, but the Spirit supplies righteousness. Trying to get out of sin will never qualify you. But believing God has qualified you will get you out of sin!
