To the outside world, it seemed as if Maggie Battista had been born under a lucky star. Her blog, Eat Boutique, quickly became popular and soon grew into a food gifting business serving some of the country's most prominent companies. She went on to host pop up markets serving tens of thousands of customers. On the cusp of opening a permanent retail space, something happened that halted her momentum and changed the trajectory of her life.
