This week I am joined by Charlene Hunter is a Senior Developer with over 10 years’ experience and is passionate about improving diversity in the tech sector. Charlene set up Coding Black Females in 2017 with the aim of growing and supporting the community of Black female developers.

On this episode, we talk about some of the challenges that women in tech face. We address the need for more diversity in the tech industry, ensuring that young women have access to training and gain creative programming skills. Charlene gives her tips on entering and thriving in the tech industry. She also shares great insight into the highs and lows of starting an initiative with a vision to create a positive impact.
