We run through many different parts of Charles' life all of which include his development and practice of grit that he attributes much of his humble success towards. He explains how he ended up being a "hippie" after college following the band Phish on tour for 6 months to settling down in Holliston where he both remotely and non-remotely operates a cacao field in the Dominican Republic!
Another topic we discuss is balance of life. Charles describes how when he reflects on his life, it was most definitely out of balance and how he continues to make the changes today to try and balance the 5 most important pillars.
Towards the end of the interview, Charles goes into why, how, and when he started at CrossFit Firewall. He also gives a few tips for those who are consistently traveling to keep up with their fitness journey.
