Charles Massie was the oldest of four children, grew up in upstate New York, attended West Genesee High School and Syracuse University and has been instrumental in the operation of several companies.  His writing career began by submitting articles and stories to a variety of publications, including Redbook, Readers Digest and Twilight Zone magazines. His novels include Pinned, Stains on The Gavel, The Boy in the Bin a young adult adventure and The Red Road to Hades true-crime in Kentucky’, ‘The Boy in The Bin’, a young adult adventure, ‘The Red Road to Hades’, true-crime in Kentucky’, as well as a series of cookbooks and a collection of jokes and humorous stories.

His hobbies when he is not writing include progressive rock music, computers and other toys, traveling and enjoying the gifts that he has been blessed with. He loves animals, humor, exotic cars and practicing random acts of kindness. He lives in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and New York State.
