Welcome back to The Power Play. On today's episode I sit down with Charles Smith, entrepreneur, national public speaker, and host of the podcast, Overcome Outloud. Early life was not easy for Charles. He was violently abused for over 15 years of his young life. This caused him to turn to drugs and alcohol at the age of 12. Charles left his hometown of Maine at the age of 19 and never returned home. He graduated from Fairfield University in 1988 and began his career in real estate.  After much success in his early career he joined Westrust Ventures and spent 18 years growing the company into one of California's most active retail development companies.
