In the wake of the murder of Charlie Kirk, one of the first things that popped into my mind was how Stephen spoke for the Lord with such wisdom and Spirit that his opponents could not resist him. And he ended up dead at the hands of a wicked movement led by wicked men. And the Lord was with him through the whole ordeal. And Stephen even displayed the mercy and grace of God by praying for the perpetrators of this despicable act as he died. Some thoughts here from Acts 6 and 7.
