Charlie Bird has been an LDS and Utah celebrity for being the charismatic Cosmo of BYU. Last year, he released a book and came out to the world as gay- shocking and inspiring many people who followed him. Despite Charlie Bird coming out as gay, he has maintained his faith and is still active in the LDS (Latter Day Saints) Church.

In this interview with The Brave Talk Show Hosts, Charlie talks about coming out to his family and friends as gay, why he has maintained his LDS Faith and what it's like still being a member of his Church as well as what it's like when you have two different beliefs at once. He also shares his purpose moving forward as an activist for compassion toward the gay community.
