Charlie Parr is the real deal. He has been inspired by artists of the past " like Guthrie and Leadbelly " while taking his music firmly into a 21st century filled with nearly as much uncertainty as the Dustbowl poets faced, using a bluesy folk structure from the past to add resonance to the present. He brought his resonator 12-string guitars to the studios at Beehive Productions in Saranac Lake, New York, to record a few songs and exclusive video performances.
