God of Advent waiting,
We are troubled by robbery and unrighteousness, even our own.
Help us find you in our troubled times;
help us find the joy in flowers and wreaths, olive oil lotions,
carols and songs of praise,
that we might be strengthened
to do justice, love kindness,
and walk humbly with you through your world.
