What does it mean for traditional athletes when the Olympics pioneers human body augmentation?

Imagine athletes who have been technologically augmented to make them faster, stronger...better.  It’s 2048 and a new dawn for athletics: will these future Olympians herald glory and progress as they push past the boundaries of human limitation, or are we stepping dangerously close to an ‘Übermensch’ mentality?
