In this episode, we talk about a type of artifact called "Battlefield pickups." These are items, related to a specific battle, that were discarded by the participants, collected by the locals, and repurposed into some other tool or use by the locals scouring the aftermath of the battle for things they could use. This is a pretty rare genre of artifact, but we have several examples we have and will discuss.
