Brian was dressed in his Sunday Worst. He takes a trip to various vendors, all giving him interesting reasons why he can and can't have quarters. Finally he makes good on cleaning their clothes, and shares a beautiful experience with Lauren: he tells her about his first time at Mel's Diner.
