Santiago Enrique Sanchez is a Venezuelan second-year medical student and aspiring physician scientist at Stanford Medical School. He is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied Plan II Honors and Biochemistry as a Health Science Scholar. He went on to do a Masters of Philosophy in Chemistry at Cambridge University under Professor Sir David Klenerman. He is interested in oncology, global health, health disparities in cancer, medical humanities, and philosophy of science.
