Betsy Cornwell, an author,single mother, survivor of domestic violence, She leaves her marriage to find peace and purpose. She is faced with the reality of the housing crises in Ireland. Betsy finds home in an old knitting factory in Connemara and sets out to make it an art and knitting facility for single mothers and their children. We chat about coercive control,asking for help, learning to receive, protecting ourselves, signs of abuse, finding passion, community and a sense of purpose.
