Hey there, surfers and beachgoers! Get ready for some gnarly updates on the surf zone forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service.

Let's kick things off in Barnstable, ME, where we're looking at a low rip current risk on the East Coast with surf heights around 2 feet. The UV index is crankin' high, so don't forget the sunscreen. The water temperature is in the mid-60s, making it perfect for a refreshing dip. Expect a sunny day with highs in the lower 70s. Winds will start from the Northwest at around 5 mph, shifting to the south later on.

As we cruise into Thursday, the rip current risk remains low with surf heights between 2 to 3 feet. Another sunny day ahead with temps in the lower 70s. Keep an eye on those tides at Nauset Beach and Barnstable Harbor.

Looking towards the end of the week, get ready for some bigger swells! Friday brings surf heights of 4 to 5 feet, Saturday might hit 6 to 8 feet, and Sunday looks to be around 5 to 6 feet with a chance of showers. So, brace yourselves for some exciting wave action ahead!

Remember, always stay safe in the water and keep an eye out for changing conditions. And as always, respect the power of the ocean. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
