We are back for our opener of season 5 (after a very short season 4). This episode sees a brief recap of the playoffs and the World Series. Afterwards, there is a dive into each team's needs for the following season.
We dive in on our final previews of the AL Central and AL East. Vlad gets passionate about the White Sox for 10 minutes and the rest is the usual fun and sensible discussion. There are TWO beer reviews this time around, and they're in a random portion of the podcast.
Happy baseball to everyone!
We get into our AL West preview, discuss a book I read, and go over our usual. The AL West isn't great, but it is still a lot of fun to discuss. Tune in for some banter and even a beer review.
In another late release episode, we discuss the news from a few weeks ago and preview the NL East. In an insanely interesting division from top to bottom, we try to sound smart and make intelligent predictions you can rely on.
We discuss some of the old, very old, news. Due to delays in production we are posting the previews a bit later, so excuse the timing. Either way, the NL Central preview is here and, folks, the division is very, very bad. We went at it anyway.
On today's podcast, we preview and discuss the NL West. Additionally, we dive into the latest happenings in the offseason. Drew has a beer or two and brings up a weird national holiday. All of this and a bit more from the cheap seats!
The title speaks for itself. Our main discussion centers around the Yankees "incredible" offseason so far, and we go deep into making Cashman sound like a fool. We also dive into the White Sox signing of Hendriks and whether or not they have enough to be the best in the AL. Scattered along is other offseason discussion, and Drew finally drinks and rates a beer!
We welcome back the podcast after a long hiatus due to the weirdness of 2020. Bringing in the new year, we discuss the weird season that was, the new rules changes to baseball, the situation around the league, offseason moves so far, and how we see the landscape for next year so far. No beer is flowing today, but the podcast is back in action.
We try something different as we make our first attempt to pod remotely and, fellas, it sounds amazing. We also discuss some of the happenings in baseball over the week including the blockbuster deal involving Mookie Betts (or potential lack thereof). We finish up by previewing the NL Central and predicting where everything will stack up. No beer this time but there's enough content for everyone.
In the first episode of the third season, we go into our NL West preview for the 2020 season where, once again, the Dodgers are the team to beat. No beer to digest this week, but some good conversation was had.
