Melissa L. Williams ( "Tyler Perry's The Oval," "The Game") is starring in the new BET + series "Tyler Perry's Ruthless." The drama is the first original series from Tyler Perry for the streaming service. It is a spin-off of the hit show, "The Oval," and tells the story of a woman named Ruth who kidnaps her young daughter to join her in the dark underworld of a fanatical religious cult. The 24-episode, one-hour drama, premieres March 19 and new episodes will launch every Thursday. Melissa stopped by Check the Rhymes to talk about the show, working with Tyler Perry and more!
