Too often we get an idea and we run off to put it to work only to have it fail down the road.  Why did that happen?  We didn’t check with God first.  It looked good, sounded good, and perhaps a couple of friends and even some authorities said “That’s a great idea and so we ran off.”

Married the wrong person, Started the wrong business, Moved to the wrong city and on and on it goes…

The Bible says in 

Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV)

12 There is a way that seems right to a man,
 But its end is the way of death.
