Self examination is an essential competent to a healthy walk with Jesus. In Psalm 86, David examines his life as he quantifies his requests in his prayer with God. Do we take the time to carefully examine ourselves before we go to God in prayer? Do we realize the gravity of coming before a King to present requests and listen? Do we merely think about praying or do we set aside time to be with God? As we continue in our Old Testament reading plan, Pastor Gary goes through he 86th Psalm to discuss many of these questions to help guide us in a proper perception of our communication with God.
