Sunsetters, the time is almost upon us where we will be walking into the sunset to celebrate Sunset Music Festival's big 10th anniversary! For the first time in SMF history, the event will be happening for a full THREE Days (May 27th -May 29th) at Raymond James Stadium North Lot in Tampa, Fla.
Disco Donnie Presents, Heartbeat International, and Sunset Events band to reunite Sunsetters from all different walks of life to walk into the sunset together for the 2022 edition. The lineup consists of Alesso, Dom Dolla, ILLENIUM, John Summit, Oliver Heldens, Tchami, Walker & Royce, Zeds Dead, Moore Kismet, etc.
Sunset Music Festival holds a special place in my heart because it is the first music festival I have ever attended. It opened my eyes to a world I never knew existed but was always searching for. Since attending the music festival for several years in the past, I collected pro tips to share with fellow Sunsetters who may be returning or first-timers, and that is what this episode is all about, so kick back, grab a pen, and start taking notes.
See you all at Sunset Music Festival, and keep close to EDMtilt's socials and website all weekend long for festival coverage.

Music journalism in the dance music world evolves every day and year, and thanks to Rachel Narozniak, those developmental and pivotal moments in electronic journalism are coming to life.
On our 24th episode, we welcome Rachel to the podcast. Rachel has been the managing editor for Dancing Astronaut (DA) for the past two years; come July, she will be with DA for five years, brought initially on as contributing writer in 2017 after several years of previous blogging and music journalism with Crust Nation.
Rachel has more than 2,200 news stories, track posts, album/event/product reviews, interviews, Q&As, and original features to her "DA" byline during her time at DA. Created an independent conceptualization and execution of "Supernovas," an interview-driven series that recurs monthly, and Rachel single-handedly developed and deployed Dancing Astronaut's ORBIT: AMPLIFY sequence. The weekly playlist initiative tasked artists with creating 20-track playlists containing songs from Black artists and other artists of color that inspired the curating artist.
In the episode, we take listeners on Rachel's journalism journey, discuss women and race in the music industry, mental health, and tips and tricks for anyone interested in dipping their feet into dance music journalism.
Thank you for checking in with us, Rachel, and congratulations on your success; more to come your way.

Episode 23 of Checking in with Adamchak is dedicated to Jacob Mandell (JaQob Mandell), who sadly passed away in March.
Jacob Mandell (JaQob Mandell) was an inspirational, loving, and positive human changing the world one person and interaction at a time. His love for music and art came to the surface passionately. He was always there to lend a helping hand or ear to all who crossed his path. It is hard writing this because it seems like all the excellent people leave the world behind too young. However, I am blessed to have witnessed your beacon of positivity online and in real-life. Thank you for letting me work on music releases and help some of your team and artists out. The world and the music industry owe so much to you. Rest in Peace, legend <3

Happy Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival, everyone! The time where we thought would never come fully arrived, and it's about to be a full send fellow Ultranauts.
Miami Music Week (March 22-27) is a time where people gather from all over the world to unite at the center of Miami, Florida, showcase new talent, label releases, music, and share expression through art and music. During that week, dance music lovers, industry fanatics, and artists flood the streets of Ocean Drive to put on a magical week that leads up to the largest premier electronic dance music festival in the United States, which is called Ultra Music Festival (25-27).
I have attended every Ultra since 2015, with 2013 being my first Ultra by only following the last closing epic set of Swedish House Mafia ending their time together as a trio to fast-forwarding and seeing them reunite for Ultra's 20th anniversary back in 2018. When Ultra changed venues from Bayfront Park to Virginia Key, I got to experience the festival in a different setting. Indeed, I have digested a lot with Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival as both a fan of dance music and someone who works in the industry. I am happy to put together an episode to help cater to both audiences and share my experiences, tips, and tricks.
Please enjoy my episode all about Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival, and if you are looking to connect, send me a message!
