Chef Derek displays his passion for food and everything restaurants by sharing some of the high end restaurants he has worked in. Chef has a cookbook called Charred and Smoked and all the profits go to Ballard Food Bank. Chef Derek currently is a B.O.H. restaurant consultant for Harbor Food Service. Chef has worked in some of the most sought after restaurants in the city including Ascend and 2120.

Chef Derek Bugge has also won Guy Fieri's grocery games and has a fun story about that.
