#005 - This episode goes behind the desk with Kelsey Briley, a chemistry teacher from Nashville, TN. She shares her experience from her first three years as a teacher. When she left private industry to teach high school, she had no way of expecting what her first three years had in store for her. So far, each of them has be very different. Like any good teacher, she has met the challenges of being a new teacher, a global pandemic, and lack of a classroom with the innovation and dedication so common among her profession.

Like many teachers today, Kelsey has a side hustle known as Chemistry on a Cart. This manifests itself as a website with a blog and a store where she sells complete lessons to help other teachers up their game and discover new ways to teach. She also maintains an active Instagram presence where she utilizes social media to connect appropriately with her students and share her experience behind her desk with her followers.
