When the Fortune 500 list came out in May – there were thirty-three women C-E-Os on the list. Today there are thirty-SIX. AutoNation’s Cheryl Miller is one of them. The company replaced long time C-E-O Mike Jackson in February – but, by July – had decided the new guy wasn’t a good fit. So AutoNation promoted Miller from C-F-O to C-E-O.
