We sat down with Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington in February of 2017,just a few months before his untimely passing, the band’s new album at the time One More Light was about to come out. Chester was incredibly generous with his time and was really very upbeat talking about the release of the new album and how it’s like being in a new band whenever they make a new record. He said “Our creative journey is just that, a journey, we visit, then we move on.” We spoke about the band’s fans around the world in places like Russia, China and Germany. Chester expressed his love of the times he got to sing and record with Stone Temple Pilots and how Scott Weiland had actually heard this new Linkin Park album before he died, and how Scott introduced Chester to a lot of the people he ended up playing music with.
