The sensational college football season has come to a close! With the cinderella story concluding with the Indiana Hoosiers as the national champions of CFB! What a season and what a year to Coach Curt Cignetti and the boys from Bloomington, hats off to the Hurricanes as well, hell of a run. Today we recapped the natty and highlighted the historic 16-0 season of the Hoosiers, we gave our flowers to Coach Cig, Fernando, and all of Hoosier Nation. THE SUN IS SETTING ON THE CFB SEASON. TONIGHT THE WHOLE SEASON CULMINATES TO ONE GAME!!! Today we discussed the National Championship. First we broke down the 2 CFP semi-final games and highlighted the huge wins by the Miami Hurricanes and Indiana Hoosiers. Next in our CFB News segment we ran through viewership and the rise in popularity of CFB, the push for more teams in the CFP and the conferences behind it, conference bowl and CFP records. We gave flowers to the winners of the FCS National Championship: the Montana State Bobcats. We dove into the transfer portal, players going elsewhere, players returning, coach's thoughts on the transfer portal, how teams are faring this portal window, coaching hires, etc. Last but not least in our Game of the Week we had Chew's pick vs the pick of the dreaded AI Bot.

The CFP is live and onto the semifinals! What a wild 2 weeks of playoff and bowl games galore. Today we recapped the the first round and quarterfinals of the college football playoff. In our CFB news segment we dove into the coaching carousel as well as the transfer portal. This cycle alone there are a reported 4,000 players entering the division 1 transfer portal. We also discussed the current state of the CFP and college football as a whole. In our games of the week we discussed the Fiesta and Peach Bowl semifinals with picks by yours truly and the dreaded AI Bot.

Bowl season has started, Round 1 CFP games are here! Huge shout out to Navy in their victory over Army. Playoff games galore starting tonight and rolling into Saturday: Alabama and Oklahoma in a clash in Norman, Miami vs Texas A&M in a clash in College Station, Tulane and Ole Miss meet for a 2nd time this season, and JMU travels out to Eugene to face the Ducks of Oregon. In our CFB news segment we dove into the winner of the Heisman Trophy Fernando Mendoza and Indiana's meteoric rise under the helm of the Italian Cigarette himself Curt Cignetti. We discussed the coaching carousel and player news dealing in declaring for the NFL Draft, going into the transfer portal, as well as returning to their schools. We analyzed the current state of CFB and what needs to be done going forward to restore glory to the awesome game. The CFB season has come to a close, CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND IS HERE!!! SELECTION SUNDAY AND PLAYOFF MADNESS IS HAPPENING!!! Welcome back to an extended episode of CCT where we dove into some scores and stats from around the world of CFB. In our CFB news segment we thoroughly discussed the 12-team playoff, the differences from last year, how the rankings, seeding, and byes work. On that same note we ran through Tuesday's CFP poll and the criteria the CFP committee uses to rank the teams. I ran through my predictions of the 12 teams to make the playoff this Sunday as well as the 5 potential teams competing for the final spot.
