Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Chicago-based Jazz Vocalist Paul Marinaro .. He talked at length about his new 2022 CD Not Quite Yet .. It was a long time coming for this actual incarnation of the album .. and in his words, he says that this album is an honest and intensely personal collection of songs which address themes and reflect moods that are characteristic of him .. Paul has been dubbed as having “one of the most beautiful vocal instruments in the business today” and has earned “Best Performance of the Year” in the Chicago Tribune in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 ..
