Andy Masur recaps the Blackhawks victory over the Dallas Stars, denying their 9th straight victory 3-2
The Hawks started slow to begin the game but caught a flame in the second period, scoring three straight times at the United Center, led by Connor Bedard, Andreas Athanasiou, and Seth Jones. Petr Mrazek surrendered two more goals to Dallas while stopping 42 shots on net, but it was too much to overcome the Hawks’ dominant second period for Saturday afternoon victory.
The Blackhawks return to the United Center tomorrow night for a game against the Minnesota Wild. WGN Radio’s coverage starts at 2:00 p.m. with Joe Brand’s Pregame Show, then John Wiedeman with Troy Murray on the call at 2:30 p.m.
