In the 1930s Elder Lucy Smith's All Nations Church was first to air services via radio in Chicago. Soon nearly every church was on the air and a phenomenon known as Sunday Broadcast Hopping ensued. These Hoppers would try to visit many of these churches on a Sunday night.
