Special guest presentation about the history of stereoscopy and virtual reality, tying 19th century technologies together with the modern versions we are exploring through the Digital Chicago grant. Dr. Rachel Lindsey, Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the Danforth Center on Religion and Politics at Washington University in St. Louis, will give a presentation titled "Through the Magic Glasses": Chicago in 3D Photography, 1893-2016, at 3 pm on July 6th in the Center for Chicago Programs.
