Also, a special shout out to the Wakefield Plantation peanuts that are a staple on Augusta’s shelves!Vom Fass Wine TastingVom Fass hosted Johanna from More than Grapes. She poured some excellent wines, including Le Pianure Prosecco Millesimato 2020 Extra Dry & 2019 Appassimento Rosso Veneto IGT.Recently announced wine tastingsIndependent Spirits5947 N Broadway(773) 989-2115This Thursday (June 23rd) Independent Spirits will offer a free tasting of Italian wines between 5 pm - 7 pm.Upcoming Wine EventsDoor 24 in Bucktown is part of Sunday’s Bucktown Wine Walk: June 26th, 2-5 pm, tickets are $25. (10.5% alcohol also makes it an excellent hot weather or weekday wine!)Imported by Vom Boden, this wine is available in the standard 750ml bottle as well as magnums. Personally, I recommend the magnum: A gorgeous bottle that is sure to be a hit at parties.Regular wine bar/bottle shop tastingsBelow is a list of regularly scheduled tastings at local wine bars and shops.
