In this episode I talk about the Chicano moratorium. The date was August 29, 1970. The location was East LA. Picture this, between 20,000 to 30,000 Chicanos marched down Whittier Blvd in protest against the Vietnam War as part of the National Chicano Moratorium Movement. This event was historical, violent, and traumatic.
