Former Director General of the Royal United Services Institute, Professor Michael Clarke was invited to Downing Street in November 2002 to brief former Prime Minister Tony Blair before the invasion of Iraq in March 2003.

During the Chilcot Report BFBS Sitrep Special, recorded at BBC Broadcasting House, Professor Clarke described Mr Blair as having the "weight of the whole thing on him".
