The plastic tipover restraints in kits included with this furniture break or degrade over time creating tip-over and entrapment hazards.  Affected: plastic tip restraint kits included with furniture sold from July 2024 through December 2025.


About 15,616 tip restraint kits were sold  with Childcraft furniture through School Specialty stores nationwide and online.


Stop using these recalled plastic tip restraints and keep children away from furniture secured with them until replacements are installed. Contact School Specialty at 1-866-588-6951 or via email at [email protected] is to obtain free replacement tip restraint kits made of stainless steel. After installing the replacement restraints, dispose of the recalled plastic restraints in your household trash.
