“2인 가구”의 비중이 빠르게 증가

Childless households are sharply increasing in Korea due to the low birthrate and an aging population, a governmental think tank’s research showed.

According to the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs’ report, the proportion of two-member families without children increased to 27.9 percent in 2013, up 18 percentage points from 1990.

The ratio of “standard households,” or two parents with two children, also decreased by 4.7 percentage points to 14.1 percent and those with one child fell by 5.9 percentage points to 8.6 percent.

정부의 싱크탱크 기관의 자료에 따르면 저출산율과 고령화로 인해 성인 2인 가구의 비중이 급격히 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났습니다. 한국보건사회연구원 자료에 따르면 2인 가구의 비율이 1990년부터 2103년 까지 18 퍼센트 포인트 상승한 27.9%로 3배 가까이 늘었습니다.

한편 표준 가정으로 인식되어 온 부모와 자녀 둘의 4인 가구는 4.7퍼센트 포인트 줄어든 14.1%를 차지했고, 자녀가 하나인 가구는 5.9퍼센트 포인트 줄어든 8.6%를 차지했습니다.
