The Department of Social Development has been doing road shows consulting children on the National Strategic Plan on Gender Based Violence and Femicide. This plan is the country’s blueprint document in dealing with the scourge of GBV and femicide.  However, speaking to children on this, the department says that they (children) say that it is not child friendly and sadly it has forgotten them and men.
