In this, the penultimate episode of our Children of Dune recap, we find a frustrated Ghanima who still will not be respected by Stilgar, a sad and lonely Gurney just looking for his old friend Paul, and a mysterious new double agent in Alia's latest conquest, Buer Agarves. We're close to the end and just as uncertain as ever about anyone's motivations or end goals. What we do know is that Leto is not fucking around and has already freaked many Fremen into subservience with his wall-punching, dune-hopping Shai-Halud powers. 

Side note, do you think Frank Herbert ever considered a reality in which Leto II was not a desert demon, but a dessert demon? Mmm, spice cookies.
