The Delaware Department of Education is considering a new regulation that would require schools to let children choose their gender identity and race at school – without consulting their parents. The policy is intended to protect children struggling with their identities, but critics say it would let schools come between parents and their kids and pressure boys and girls to have the opposite gender in their locker rooms.
