CHILL OUT CONVERSATIONS II - EPISODE 3

In this third episode of The Sensitive Man, called “Chill Out Conversations II”, Simon Lim delves into the world of sake making and appreciation.  Simon speaks to Eugene Wong, an advanced sake professional and founder of Mr. Otaru (www.mrotaru.com), as well as Ayumi Fujishiro, a sake sommelier & sake lecturer from Tokyo, Japan (www.ayumi-and-sake.tokyo and www.sake-to-go.com).  Learn more about premium sakes that Eugene specialises in, and about Amabie monster sake as well as other interesting sake facts from Ayumi.  Both Eugene and Ayumi give exciting insights to food pairing with sake. You will also hear from an architect Robin Foo who will share about the types of sake he is fond of.  Robin’s work as an architect has seen him reconstruct an old temple in China into a fashionable café, and he knows how to chill out with good sake.
Michel Lu, a notable figure in Singapore F&B industry and now purveyor of unique Asian craft spirits talks about the personalised blends of his distilled drinks known as The Orientalist Spirits (www.theorientalistspirits.com).  Michel also shares how he unwinds at home and his approach to life and work.
Simon chats with Raphael Chong, a modern man of today who wears different hats of husband, father and lead in advertising sales. Find out how Raphael celebrated his wife’s birthday amid Covid19 restrictions, and the alcoholic drinks he enjoys.
