Back to a time when summers were filled with cringe-y adventures...unless your like us and had to go to summer school or stay with your grandma. The breaks from school when responsibilities were few and your friendships were everything. Join us on our millennial look back at the summer breaks that build the friendships and memories we carry to today. Also some Stranger Things 4 cuz it's pretty dope.

In this episode we take a small recap of some of the events that took place while we were away and talk about everyone's favorite topic...politics. After that we finish it off with some of the shows we're currently enjoying.

The main character of 2020's Itaewon Class is a strong character who defies preconceptions and hardships that many other Korean shows don't normally address. Park Seroyi's never give-up entrepreneurial mindset reflects the core values that many Americans admire and respect. We pretty much gush about Park Seroyi, talk about how funny Vincenzo was, and recommend some other Korean shows we liked and are watching. Crack open some of that soju and take a seat. 

The new wave of popular Korean shows has been on Netflix for a while, and only growing bigger. Even among the vast ocean of K-dramas, Itaewon Class  stands out and defies the cookie cutter norms most shows follow.  In this episode we discuss some of our favorite characters, moments and the beginning of this awesome show. Also, Ridley Scott, confused angry grandpa? And, for some reason we get sidetracked and try and remember movies that won awards.

Cuz we're hip and trendy too! The biggest show of 2021 that garnered world wide attention and popularity. It was ranked number one on Netflix in 94 countries, streamed for over 2 billion hours and watched by more than 142 million households.  I guess we should talk about it... Squid Game. In this episode we discuss the different games, characters, backstories and meanings within the Squid Game and how it made these millennials feel. You'll probably want a drink for this one.

Whether it be on the playground or in the classroom, before or after school, at home or at the mall, we all played games. The turn of the millennia saw a break-through in technology that allowed us to have the power of game consoles in the palms of our flaming hot cheetohs dusted hands. The introduction of handheld legends like the original gameboy and the gameboys color and advanced, gave birth to legendary titles that carryon to this day. During that time even our simple calculators became tools  of gaming entertainment. This episode we talk about the powerful consoles and their games we wielded on the playground and the lasting memories we have of them.
