Chilton is a writer, avid hiker, climbing enthusiast, and is currently pursuing a masters degree in Latin American and Border Studies and researching water access in underserved border communities for UTEP’s Center for Environmental Resource Management.
Chilton successfully trekked the Continental Divide Trail in 2015.
He joins us to talk about his journey through the Rockies, the extreme nature of the outdoors, and the benefits one attains from completing long-distance excursions into the wilderness.
