China Ranch is near Tecopa California, just outside Death Valley and it's a true oasis in the desert.  As you can hear in this recording the streams are flowing and the birds are singing.  This little ranch is in the middle of the Mojave Desert but you wouldn't know if you hadn't just driven through the sands to get here.
