新幹線で通路をはさんだ隣の席に

女の人が座っていた

その人はハンカチを手にすすり泣いていた

親しい人との別れかな？

僕はチロルチョコを食べていた

チョコにはいろんな種類があって

コーヒーヌガー　ミルク　アーモンド

きなこもち いちごゼリー

女の人が泣いているそのわけを

考えながら食べていた

対向列車とすれ違い 急に車両が揺れて

膝の紙袋が倒れた

通路に散らばったチョコを 拾い集めた

泣いてた彼女も拾ってくれた

落とさなかったきれいなチョコを

お礼にといくつか手渡した

彼女はどこへ行くんだろう？

どこで降りるんだろう？

チロルチョコを舐めながら

包み紙のシワを伸ばすと

広げてみつめた

これからの地図を見るように

そして手帳に挟んだ

Licking the TIROL-CHOCO

On the bullet train, across the aisle from me

A woman was sitting next to me

She was sobbing with a handkerchief in her hand

I guess she was saying goodbye to someone close to her

I was eating a TIROL-CHOCO

There are many kinds of chocolates

Coffee nougat, milk, almond

Kinako mochi, strawberry jelly

I was thinking about the reason why the woman was crying

When I passed an oncoming train and the car suddenly shook.

The paper bag on my lap fell over

I picked up the chocolates scattered in the aisle

She was crying, but she picked them up, too

I handed her some of the clean chocolates that I hadn't dropped

I gave her some as a thank you

I wonder where she's going?

Where does she get off?
