Karen Storey has been a Toastmaster for over 25 years and she has inspired thousands of people during time with Toastmasters. Toastmasters is known as a forum where people go to learn to become better speakers. What's just as important, when you attend a Toastmasters meeting you learn to become a better listener as well. Whether you are a stay at home parent, a business professional or no matter what your occupation is, Toastmasters is for you. Karen is a business owner, a brilliant public speaker, and she's a mentor of many people who have traveled the road of learning to become a better communicator. Karen is also known for starting a Toastmasters club in the Jessup prison in Maryland (The New Genesis Club) where she has mentored hundreds of inmates to become more confident in their communication skills as they approach their release date from prison.
