Joell Mower's son was murdered in 2012 in a drug deal gone bad. It was in an instant that Joell was able to forgive the murderer. She credits her faith and the Devine Mercy Chaplet that was given to her months earlier to be able to offer forgiveness. The immediate forgiveness she experienced for the murderer, who is serving a 64-years-to-life sentence, kept Joell's family from falling apart. It also enabled the perpetrator to change his life while behind bars. Joell will never be able to forget what happen but her courage to forgive is an inspiring story for all of us.
